A kitten must be at least six months old to become an pupil.
Newly appointed fighters will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
A cat cannot be made delegate without having mentored at least one pupil.
The delegate will become Tribe leader when the leader dies or retires.
After the death or retirement of the leader, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
A Gathering of all four Tribes is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Tribes at this time.
Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing power cats.
No fighter can neglect a kitten in pain or danger, even if the kitten is from a different Tribe.
The word of the Tribe leader is law.
An honorable fighter does not need to kill other power cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the fighter code or it is necessary for self-defense.
A fighter rejects the soft life of a Housecat.
Menders cannot mate or have kits.
